What are the primary ways you get money?

Would you call yourself a “saver” or a “spender” when it comes to money? Why?

Money

Proverbs 3:9-10
Honor the LORD with your possessions, with the firstfruits of all your increase; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.

Most of us don’t have vats and barns today.  How would you say this verse applies to us?

What does it mean to give God the firstfruits?

Why does giving to God first take more faith than giving him what is left?

When it comes to money, many Christians don’t think of giving to God first. Why do you think that is?

How does giving first change your perspective about money?

Make it personal:

Is the concept of tithing new to you? When did you start tithing regularly?

What makes tithing difficult?

Time

Another way we can put God first in our time.  How can we put him first in our time?

What are some things that we need to make a priority in our time?

Why is it difficult to put God first in our time?

Final thoughts:

Give God the first and the rest is blessed.

If you can, share a time when you put God first and saw a blessing in your life.

We are blessed to be a blessing

What does this statement mean to you?
Have you ever thought of using your time, money, and talents to bless others?
How could you begin being a blessing to others now?
